About the Role:

Savvital is hiring a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Network Mapping Specialist to support our U.S.-based client in planning and visualizing fiber optic networks using Vetro.io. You'll play a key role in creating and updating cable layouts, network plans, and spatial data that telecom companies rely on to execute real-world infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Use Vetro.io to map fiber optic cables, splice points, and network routes.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, as-builts, and field sketches to create accurate digital network layouts.
  • Collaborate with network engineers and project managers to ensure data accuracy.
  • Maintain organized records of layout plans, updates, and fiber path documentation.
  • Conduct quality checks on fiber strand routing and data layers.
  • Provide timely updates and reports as per project milestones.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in
    Telecommunications, GIS, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with fiber optic planning tools or
    GIS platforms (e.g., Vetro.io, ArGIS, QGIS).
  • Understanding of network topologies (ring, star, point-to-point) and cable routing logic.
  • Proficiency with mapping tools, Excel, and data entry.
  • Strong spatial reasoning and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and across time zones.
  • Prior experience supporting FTTH or broadband rollout projects.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Google Earth, or telecom field data.
  • Experience with U.S.-based telecom companies is a plus.

Work Timings:

This is a full-time role from 6 PM - 3 AM.
